What happened
During a scheduled supply mission operating over the territory of Laos, an aircraft experienced a mechanical failure involving one of its engines. This malfunction occurred while the plane was en route to its destination, necessitating that the crew perform an emergency bailout.
Following the crew's departure from the aircraft, the plane entered a steep descent and impacted the terrain. The collision triggered a massive explosion in an area situated approximately 230 km northeast of Bangkok. While the six crew members managed to survive the incident, the impact and subsequent blast caused significant loss of life on the ground, with 11 people killed.
