What happened

During a recent aviation accident near Liberia, a single-engine aircraft experienced a loss of control during its initial climb phase. The flight had just departed from Roberts International Airport (Monrovia-Roberts) when the aircraft entered a stall. Following the aerodynamic stall, the plane descended into the ocean at a distance of several hundred meters from the shoreline.

Search and rescue operations following the impact resulted in the recovery of two passengers. However, the accident claimed the lives of 16 other individuals on board.
