What happened

During a recent flight departing from Luang Prabang Airport, a twin-engine aircraft experienced a catastrophic loss of control. The incident occurred while the plane was in its climbing phase, shortly after leaving the runway. During this ascent, the aircraft became unstable and descended into a crash that resulted in an immediate fire.

There were seven fatalities recorded in the accident, as all occupants on board perished during the impact and subsequent flames. The flight was operated by a crew consisting of the pilot and a co-pilot.

Findings

Following the descent and impact, it was determined that the aircraft went out of control while attempting to gain altitude. The crash site was characterized by intense fire following the loss of control during the climb.
