What happened
During a scheduled maritime patrol mission, an aircraft went down in the Pacific Ocean. The incident occurred at a location roughly 350 miles southwest of San Diego. Following the disappearance, search efforts located a small amount of debris floating on the ocean surface.
All 13 occupants on board the aircraft perished in the accident. At this time, the specific sequence of events leading to the impact remains unconfirmed.

There are currently unknown circumstances regarding why the aircraft crashed. Investigation into the wreckage or flight data has not yet established a definitive reason for the loss of the aircraft during its patrol flight.
