What happened
During a scheduled training mission conducted in the vicinity of the Amami Islands, a seaplane encountered a catastrophic event during its landing sequence. While attempting to touch down on the water, the aircraft overturned. Following the capsize, the vessel submerged beneath the surface.
All seven individuals on board, consisting entirely of the crew, lost their lives in the accident. There were no survivors reported from the flight.
