SMA PLT PENETRATES PROHIBITED AREA.
Narrative
PLANNING RTE SOME TIME AGO; FROM BEVERLY (BVY) TO BIDDEFORD (B29); USING A SECTIONAL AND SAW THAT IT WAS JUST BARELY CLR OF PROHIBITED AREA. SO ON THE NIGHT IN QUESTION; I PLUGGED IN THE IDENT FOR BIDDEFORD INTO THE LORAN; AND IT SHOWED ITS USUAL COURSE OF 037 DEG; SO I FLEW ALONG THE COURSE AT A CRUISE ALT OF 3500 FT. AT APPROX 15 MI S OF B19 I STARTED DSNDING. IT DIDN'T SEEM TO MEAN MUCH THAT THE LORAN WAS INDICATING THAT B19 WAS AT BEARING 033 DEG. NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD BE INSIDE P67. ONCE ON THE GND; THE ARPT MGR TOLD ME PORTLAND TWR (PWM) WANTED ME TO CALL THEM. THEY SAID I WAS AT 2500 FT INSIDE P67. THE CEILING OF IT IS 3000 FT (WHICH I WAS AWARE OF). I MADE THE MISTAKE BECAUSE AFTER THE LORAN SHOWED ITS USUAL COURSE I DIDN'T GIVE P67 ANOTHER THOUGHT; EVEN THOUGH I DEVIATED FROM ONLY 4 DEG IN THE WRONG DIRECTION. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATED HE WOULD SEND A SECOND COPY OF RPT DUE TO POST OFFICE DAMAGE OF ORIGINAL. FAILED TO DO SO EVEN AFTER SECOND FOLLOW UP CALLBACK.
