Narrative

Flying into Scottsdale on a busy afternoon. Cleared for the visual with Approach Control. After being switched to Scottsdale Tower I could hear them denying training airplanes approaches and touch and goes. Tower even warned trainers to 'Get out of the final approach course for two one' 'Multiple jet arrivals on 21'. I was issued 2 traffic warnings and had one for sure. The other was approaching from my right and low; somewhat my blind side. At first when I heard the RA warning I thought it may have been the TAWS warning (Terrain Awareness and Warning System) I have often gotten before as you fly fairly near terrain there in VMC and for a second ignored it. When I heard 'climb climb' though and saw the RA displayed in red; my training kicked in and I pulled up. Aircraft Y; passed directly under me about 100 feet. Although [it was] hard to see him from the left pilot seat; the traffic should have had a grand view of his potential death straight out the front window. If you are in a training airplane; in this situation; don't be looking at a chart or planning your next approach.Throughout; tower controllers were doing a great job in a difficult situation. My takeaway is to have zero hesitation in pulling up for a RA. Don't assume it's false or look for traffic or worry about your clearance. The company just bought this aircraft new and the technology of the G3000 avionics quite possibly saved 6 lives yesterday.
