Synopsis

Flight Attendant reported a cabin pressurization problem and having to take their seats earlier than expected.

Narrative

During service I and (the other FA) were in row 10-14. We experienced what felt like us slowing down rapidly and then the beginning of descent. CA came over the PA 'Flight Attendants take your seats'. We quickly moved the cart to the back; stowed it and took the jump seats. Then called the CA to let him know we were seated. The CA later called us back to let us know that the cabin pressure warning had come on and that we had done a priority descent and would be diverting to ZZZ. He made a PA and I walked back up to my jump seat and secured the cabin. I called back as soon as I was seated to let him know I had made it. During this time we experienced no signs of a depressurization or hypoxia in any passengers. Upon landing we deplaned the passengers as normal and they took all carry on and a la cart bags. We gathered our things and made our way to the crew room where we could debrief. We felt after the event that we needed to break for the rest of the day; CA let CS know and we were sent to our hotel. Great job by the whole crew remaining calm and communicating!
