AFTER PARACHUTE JUMPERS HAD LEFT ACFT AND PLT OF JUMPER ACFT WAS CIRCLING AND OBSERVING JUMPERS; SIGHTED SMA ACFT FLYING THROUGH JUMPER AREA. NO ADVISORY.

Narrative

FLYING SEVERAL FLTS (15+) OF JUMPERS FOR ACCURACY AND STUDENT TRAINING; NORMALLY WORK ABQ CENTER WITH A DISCRETE FOR FLT ADVISORIES; ALSO LCL UNICOM ON OTHER RADIO FOR ADVISORIES TO TFC AND GND PERSONNEL. CALLED 2 MINS PRIOR TO DROP OF JUMPERS OVER ELOY PARA-CENTER AND CLRED FOR TFC. AFTER JUMPERS GAVE 'CUT' SIGNAL ANNOUNCED 'JUMP X DSNDING TO THE (DIRECTION)'. DURING DSCNT AT FAIRLY STEEP ANGLE LOOKING DOWN AND BOTH SIDES CAUGHT A GLIMPSE OF A HIGH ACFT BELOW ME (AND IN SOME DIRECTION TO NW) AND ROLLED R ABOUT 90 DEG TO CLR HIM. APPARENTLY HE HAD OVERFLOWN THE JUMP AREA (SE TO NW) AS I WAS IN CLOSE ON THE NW CORNER OF THE E60 AIRFIELD AREA. USUALLY ABQ CENTER WILL MONITOR AND ADVISE OF OBSERVED TFC; ALSO OTHER PLTS AND GND CREW AT PARA-CENTER WILL ADVISE OF OBSERVED LOWER LEVEL ACFT. THE OBSERVED ACFT; A SMALL SMA; PROBABLY DID NOT 'SKIN PAINT' FOR THERE WAS NO ABQ CENTER WARNING OR COMMENT. THERE WAS A NOTAM ON FILE FOR THE JUMPS AND RADIO ANNOUNCEMENTS ON CENTER FREQ (125.4) AND UNICOM (122.8). THIS APPARENTLY WAS A TRANSIENT ACFT FLYING PARALLEL TO THE TUCSON/PHOENIX HIGHWAY (AND VFR/VMC). WE HAVE GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH ABQ CENTER AND ARE KNOWN TO MOST LCL (AZ STATE) PLTS AND DO NOT HAVE 'HAIRY' FLTS. KNOWLEDGE OF THE AREA; KNOWLEDGE OF THE MAP SYMBOLS; AND THE NOTAMS BY TRANSIENTS WOULD ALLEVIATE THE FEW SIGHTINGS OF LIGHT ACFT XING THE FIELD AREA DURING FILED JUMPING HRS. WORKLOAD ALLOWING; ABQ CENTER DOES GIVE TA'S TO VFR ACFT WHO REQUEST IT.
