ACR LNDG WITHOUT CLRNC.

Narrative

UPON ARR IN THE DFW AREA WE WERE VECTORED TO A VISUAL STRAIGHT IN ON RWY 18R. DSNDING THROUGH 1000 FT AGL THE CAPT ANNOUNCED THAT THE BEFORE LNDG CHKLIST WAS COMPLETE AND WE WERE CLR TO LAND. I THEN VISUALLY CONFIRMED THAT ALL THE TABS ON THE MECHANICAL CHKLIST WERE IN THE LNDG POS. AS THE LAST 2 TABS ARE UNLABELED OUR PRACTICE IS THE FIRST REPRESENTS THAT WE ARE CLRED THE APCH AND THE SECOND REPRESENTS CLRED TO LAND. OUR ARR WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF A COMPLEX AND THE RADIOS WERE SATURATED. THIS WAS MY LEG TO FLY AND THE CAPT WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RADIOS. I LANDED THE ACFT UNEVENTFULLY AND WE TAXIED CLR OF THE RWY ON THE SECOND HIGH SPD. WE DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY TAXI INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE TWR AND THE CAPT TOLD ME TO CONTACT THEM. I CALLED FOR TAXI INSTRUCTIONS ON THE FREQ THE CAPT HAD SELECTED AND WAS INFORMED THAT I NEEDED TO CONTACT THE TWR; THAT WE WERE STILL WITH APCH CTL. I THEN CONTACTED THE TWR AND WAS TOLD TO HOLD SHORT OF 18L. WE THEN DISCUSSED THE POSSIBILITY THAT WE HAD LANDED WITHOUT A CLRNC; BUT WERE NEVER TOLD TO CONTACT ATC BY TELEPHONE AT THE COMPLETION OF THE FLT.
