THE WX AT TOLUCA WAS 25 SCATTERED 2 1/2 HF 10 DEG C/10 DEG C CALM 30.42. WE EXECUTED THE VOR DME 33 APCH. AT ABOUT 8 DME WE SAW THE RWY 33 PAPI AND SHORTLY AFTER I SAW THE THRESHOLD. THE FO CONTINUED THE APCH ON THE GAUGES TO MDA AND THEN LOOKED UP AND BEGAN TO MANEUVER FOR LNDG. THE RWY 33 APCH COURSE BRINGS YOU IN AT AN OFFSET TO THE R (33) AND IN LINING UP HE DRIFTED TO THE L AND CORRECTED BACK TO THE R. AS HE REGAINED THE CENTERLINE HE BANKED L ABOUT 10 DEG AND THEN ELECTED TO GAR. EXECUTING THE REJECTED LNDG IT FELT LIKE THE L MAIN TOUCHED LIGHTLY. WE EXECUTED THE MISSED APCH PROC AND 1 TURN IN HOLDING; THE SHOT THE APCH AGAIN AND LANDED. ON WALK AROUND; DAMAGE TO THE L WING WAS DISCOVERED. THE GND FOG WAS PATCHY AND VERY THIN. WE NEVER DID GET INTO THE FOG; BUT IT DID MAKE HORIZ VISIBILITY; SLANT VISIBILITY; RESTR. I HAD THE RWY APCH END IN SIGHT THROUGHOUT THE APCH AFTER PROC TURN; BUT THE FO SAID HE HAD DIFFICULTY IDENTING THE RWY. THIS IS WHY HE STAYED ON THE GAUGES UNTIL MDA. I FEEL THAT I COULD HAVE BEEN MORE AGGRESSIVE IN VERBALLY ASSISTING THE FO FOR ALIGNMENT; BUT I ASSUMED THAT; SINCE IT LOOKED SIMPLE ENOUGH TO ME; HE WOULD HAVE NO DIFFICULTY. I ALSO SHOULD HAVE CALLED FOR A MISSED APCH SOONER; AS SOON AS HE DRIFTED PAST THE RWY TO THE L.
