ACR FO IS CAUGHT BY FAA INSPECTOR WITH RTE MANUAL REVISIONS NOT UP TO DATE.

Narrative

DURING A RTE CHK BY A FAA INSPECTOR; IT WAS FOUND THAT MY RTE MANUAL WAS NOT UP TO DATE. THE REVISION PAGE SHOWED ME 10 REVISIONS BEHIND. I THOUGHT THIS WAS ODD BECAUSE I USUALLY UPDATE THEM ON SCHEDULE. WHEN I WENT TO UPDATE THEM I FOUND THAT I HAD ONLY PUT IN THE CHART NOTAM AND TERMINAL TAB (REGULAR ARPTS) FOR EACH REVISION THROUGH #43. BECAUSE I HADN'T FINISHED THE WHOLE REVISION (TERMINAL TAB-ALTERNATE ARPTS) I HAD NOT NOTED THIS ON THE REVISION SHEET AS BEING COMPLETED. OUR AIRLINE HAS BEEN OPERATING UNDER CHAPTER 11 BANKRUPTCY PROTECTION FOR THE PAST 8 MONTHS. THE STRAIN OF THAT AND THE THOUGHT OF LOSING MY JOB HAS AFFECTED ME SOMEWHAT BECAUSE I DON'T MAKE A HABIT OF ONLY DOING HALF A REVISION. WHEN THE INSPECTOR NOTED THE REVISIONS MISSING I GOT SO NERVOUS I COMPLETELY FORGOT THAT EXCEPT FOR THE ALTERNATES I HAD UPDATED THE REVISIONS. I FOUND OUT WHEN I FINISHED THE REMAINING REVISION. I WOULD JUST LIKE TO NOTE I HAVE NO RECORD OF INCIDENTS OR ACCIDENTS; AND MY AIRLINE AS WELL AS MY FORMER EMPLOYER CAN ATTEST TO THAT. I HAVE NEVER OPERATED AS ANYTHING LESS THAN A PROFESSIONAL AVIATOR. I CAN ONLY CONCLUDE AS CONTRIBUTING TO THE SITUATION WAS THE PRECARIOUS POS OF MY COMPANY AND MY NOT TAKING THE FULL TIME TO COMPLETE THE WHOLE REVISION. I DO NOT ASK TO BE EXCUSED FOR MY LACK OF JUDGEMENT IN THIS MATTER ONLY TO BE UNDERSTOOD. IT HASN'T HAPPENED BEFORE AND WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN.
