Synopsis

Pilot reported being distracted on touchdown when loose items on the flight deck hit the reporters right leg.

Narrative

For arrival into ZZZ; received landing data requiring Max Auto Brake landing due to Runway length. We selected appropriately. Upon touch down; when the auto brakes kicked in; the 3 Covid flight deck mask/glove bags slid off the top of the suitcase compartment behind my seat and slid forward between my chair and the center console. They went forward enough to hit the back of my right leg and stop. Having never felt that before; I glanced down to see what hit my leg. When I looked up again; we were still in the center of the Runway decelerating with the max auto brakes and were down to under 100 kts. IAS. I kicked off the auto brakes and then realized I never deployed the thrust reversers on the engines. I slowed the aircraft down with no problems. I taxied the aircraft clear and I commented to my First Officer out loud that 'Dang it; I forgot the reversers. The mask bags slid forward and hit my right leg and it distracted me.' We taxied to the Gate without any incident. I debriefed the incident with Name and told him not to worry about filling out a report himself.
