Synopsis

Flight Crew reported main gear tire deflation on landing rollout.

Narrative

I was the Pilot Flying. Winds were favoring Runway XX at ZZZ. Approach speed was on speed. Vref was 90 kts. upon crossing Runway XX threshold. Upon flaring; I reduced my throttles gradually to idle. I landed the airplane around 75 kts. Landing was normal; not a hard landing. I held the control wheel aft to slowly lower the nosewheel; but then heard something odd. Then felt the plane movement was not normal. I lowered the nose and attempted to maintain centerline. Then I tried slowing the airplane by applying brakes gradually; and the airplane started turning to the right. At that point; the airplane was at such a slow airspeed; I added more brakes and got the plane to a complete stop still on the runway. I immediately contacted Operations Control via frequency and let them know the situation. I left the engines running with all the lights on to keep the plane visible since we were still on the runway. I made sure all the passengers were ok; and none seemed to be phased. Some commented that I did a good job of handling the situation. Operations Control got hold of airport maintenance and let them know of the situation. I had passengers inside the airplane until Airport Maintenance and ZZZ Operations came with vehicles. Once they came; they helped escort passengers and luggage back to [the] terminal. Maintenance Control got hold of contract maintenance is currently on his way to ZZZ in order to replace the right main tire; and then hopefully tow it back to the ramp. The right main tire is a re-treaded tire; and lately there have been write ups for tires having bubbles or holes. Maybe all the new re-treaded tires that ZZZ1 Maintenance received are a bad batch and need to be re-inspected.

Second reporter narrative

PIC (Pilot in Command) was flying aircraft. Takeoff; climb; cruise and approach all normal. We were correctly configured; and we crossed the threshold at around 90 knots. PIC slowly pulled power and started into the flare. We smoothly touched down around 85 knots. We were on centerline; and there was no sideloading. After touchdown there began to be a vibration; and I could feel the aircraft begin to pull to the right. I could feel the PIC starting to add brakes to try and keep the aircraft centerline; but was unable to do so. The right main had debeaded from the wheel. The aircraft settled on the right side of the runway. All 3 tires still on the runway. The right main and nose wheel were close to the edge. At this time PIC started to radio for assistance and informed the passengers of what was going on. All passengers were ok; and insisted that they were happy with the PICs control of the aircraft during the event. At this time is when the airport manager and ground crew showed up to assist. All passengers were removed from the aircraft safely.I do not believe that the landing had anything to do with the event whatsoever. The landing was smooth without any sideloading; and was on centerline. I believe the tire that debeaded was a retreaded tire and these tires are causing issues. During preflight we did not notice any bubble in the tread or sidewall but I have noticed them on other aircraft before.
