Narrative
Enroute ZZZ1 to ZZZ; about 1 hour out of ZZZ (near ZZZZZ intersection); Flight Attendants reported electrical burning odor aft portion of cabin (row 27-30). #1 Flight Attendant turned off the power to all passenger seat power ports. Odor dissipated; flight continued to ZZZ without further event. Flight Attendants did an exceptional job troubleshooting the issue and reacting properly to the situation. They maintained proactive communication with the flight deck; updating the Captain on the situation throughout the remainder of the flight. Captain reached out to Dispatch and Maintenance for further inputs to ensure there were no other options to address the electrical burning odor. Aircraft landed with no further incident. No Flight Attendants nor passengers report any ill effects. Aircraft was removed from service for further inspection. Nothing further to report. [The odor was caused by a] possible electrical short or overload in the passenger seat power port system. Flight crew did an excellent job handling the situation; training paid off. Kudos to the crew.
