Synopsis
C-182 Pilot reported a prop strike on landing after encountering a gust of wind.
Narrative
On [date] at approximately XA:50pm local; I had an incident that resulted in a propeller strike in Aircraft X. I had just completed the second and final jump run for the afternoon with one parachute exiting the aircraft. I started a descent south of our home airfield; ZZZ and setup for a long final to Runway XX. On my previous landing; I practiced a no-flap landing. I decided to perform a full-flap landing to contrast the two. I approached to land Runway XX on speed and made contact with the Runway within the first 1000 ft. As I touched down; a gust of wind from the left caught and raised the left wing so that only the right landing gear was in contact with the surface of the Runway. I applied right rudder and brake as I perceived the aircraft left of centerline and at risk of departing the Runway without correction. As I applied right brake; the nose came down and the propeller struck the surface of the Runway. The airplane settled onto both mains and the nosewheel while still on the surface of Runway XX. I taxied off of Runway XX and shutdown the engine to inspect the damage.
