Synopsis
Air carrier flight crew reported being questioned on arrival regarding Hazmat procedures.
Narrative
We operated Aircraft X from ZZZ1 - ZZZ on Date. During taxi in at ZZZ; we received notification from the Company Ramp Ops in ZZZ that the [agency] wanted to ask us some questions upon arrival. After block-in; [an agent]; met us in the cockpit and informed us that she had some question regarding our Dangerous Goods/Hazmat procedures. Name asked me and the FO (First Officer) to guide her through our typical workflow for reviewing the DG paperwork and completing the Hazmat can inspection. I provided a high-level overview of our typical workflow of how we review/verify the DG paperwork and complete the accessible dangerous goods inspections. Next; she asked us some what-if style questions regarding our procedures for handling an EFB experiencing a thermal runaway. The FO discussed the possibility of placing items in the [Thermal Containment Bag]. This concluded the interview. The [agent] informed us that she was only conducting an inspection on DG/Hazmat procedures and she recorded our employee numbers. I informed her that I would also be reaching out to my supervisor to report the incident for documentation purposes. After the flight; I spoke with the Duty Officer who indicated that there has been an uptick in these types of inspections and advised us to file a report for tracking purposes.
