Narrative
OUR FLT WAS CLRED FOR TKOF. IT WAS MY LEG TO FLY. I SET PWR AND CAPT STATED HE WAS (LOOKING) OUTSIDE. CAPT PANEL WAS CLR AND ALL SYSTEMS NORMAL. BTWN 70-80 KIAS I FELT 1 OF THE ENGS MAY NOT HAVE BEEN DEVELOPING FULL PWR (IT SOUNDED FUNNY!). THE ACFT SEEMED TO BE PULLING TO THE L. I QUESTIONED THE CAPT AND BOTH OF US CHKED ALL ENG INSTS. ON A 'HUNCH' THE CAPT CALLED 'ABORT' IN SPITE OF ALL INDICATIONS NORMAL. THE ACFT PULLED HARD TO THE R AND I PULLED THE L PWR LEVER OVER THE GATE FOR MAX REVERSE TO COUNTERACT PULLING TO R. THE CAPT TOOK OVER PWR LEVERS AT THIS TIME. AS WE WERE SKIDDING TO THE R ABOUT TO GO OFF THE RWY CAPT PULLED L FEATHER HANDLE WHICH SHUT DOWN L ENG. DIRECTIONAL CTL WAS IMMEDIATELY RESTORED. THE ACFT SMOOTHLY ROLLED TO A STOP AT TAXIWAY 55. SPD LEVERS WERE PULLED BACK AND THE R ENG WHICH HAD BEEN SLOWLY DECELERATING STOPPED RUNNING. THE R PROP STOPPED AND FEATHERED. BOTH ENGS ARE DEAD AT THIS POINT. I CALLED TWR TO SAY WE HAD ABORTED TKOF. WE THEN EXPERIENCED TOTAL ELECTRICAL FAILURE FOR APPROX 5 SECONDS. THE CAPT THEN CLEANED UP THE ACFT AND CLOSED R LP FUEL TO HYDS. AS CAPT WAS CLEANING UP I NOTICED R ENG SMOKING AT THE EXHAUST STACK; AT INTAKE AND SMOKE COMING OUT THE TOP ENG NACELLE VENT. BATTERY PWR WAS RESTORED. R ENG NACELLE WAS SMOKING PROFUSELY AND I TOLD CAPT THERE WAS NOW FIRE COMING OUT THE EXHAUST STACK. CAPT THEN ELECTED TO DEPLANE PAXS OUT THE ENTRANCE DOOR AS A PRECAUTION. I CALLED TWR AND TOLD THEM WE HAD LOST R ENG ON TKOF AND IT WAS NOW ON FIRE AND REQUESTED ASSISTANCE. THEY STATED EMER VEHICLES WERE ON THE WAY. I CALLED COMPANY OPS STATED OUR POS AND REQUESTED ASSISTANCE. I TURNED OFF BATTERY MASTER. THE CAPT HAD DEPLANED ALL PAXS AND RETURNED TO ACFT. AT THIS TIME I SAW A SMALL FLAME COMING OUT TOP OF ENG NACELLE VENT. CAPT ADVISED TO FIRE ENG FIRE EXTINGUISHERS; WHICH I DID. FIRE TRUCKS ARRIVED APPROX 15 MINS LATER AND SHOT EXTINGUISHING AGENT INTO THE INTAKE. THEY SAID THEY COULD STILL SEE FLAME INSIDE AT THE INTAKE. COMPANY BUS ARRIVED APPROX 20 MINS LATER AND PAXS AND BAGS WERE TAKEN TO THE TERMINAL. #1; WE ABORTED TKOF ON A 'HUNCH.' #2; WE DEPLANED PAXS AS A PRECAUTION IN SPITE THAT WE FELT IT WAS JUST A 'STACK FIRE.' #3; WE BLEW THE FIRE BOTTLES OFF; AGAIN JUST AS A PRECAUTION.
