Pilot flying C-177 aircraft reported runway excursion during landing rollout.
Synopsis
Pilot flying C-177 aircraft reported runway excursion during landing rollout.
Narrative
I was flying from ZZZ1 to ZZZ. I departed ZZZ1 (winds calm) at XA:06. On approach I tuned the AWOS and it stated that winds were light and variable at XA:20 and several aircraft were using Runway XX. I called my intention to enter a 45 downwind entry to left Runway XX. A plane had just taken off from XX and was on crosswind leg. I changed my intention from a 45 downwind entry to a direct to base entry because the 45 midfield would have put us too close. As I entered left base; I noticed a national guard helicopter hovering at about the 500-foot mark about 500 ft. away from the runway. I closely watched and decided to land at or after the 1;000-foot marker. I had an uneventful landing and touched down just past the 1;000-foot marker. I pulled power and proceeded to continue my roll. After a couple of hundred feet of rolling; my right wing suddenly raised about 6-8 ft. and the plane made a sudden left turn. I attempted to correct; but doing so put me on track to run off the runway. At exit [Taxiway] XX; I had the plane leveled off; but was on track to run off the runway. I heard the plane hit something that later turned out to be one of the runway lights. I ran off the runway at [Taxiway] XX and maneuvered the plane back to the runway. I called on the radio that I had been blown off the runway because I knew that there were other planes behind me. After checking that the plane was able to taxi; I taxied to the FBO. I told the FBO that I had run off the runway and had probably hit a light. We drove to [Taxiway] XX and confirmed.
