Synopsis
Air carrier ground personnel reported being summoned to the Supervisor's office after an improper HAZMAT shipment. Supervisor stated there was no investigation being held and dismissed the ground personnel.
Narrative
There had been a discrepant HAZMAT shipment. Management requested to talk to me at the start of the shift about the mentioned discrepant shipment due to me being the second set of eyes. However; I know that any management inquiry of union employees actions must be accompanied by informing a Shop Steward. I called the Shop Steward for the proper SOP of the prior mentioned explanation. He confirmed this is the process and asked me to bring him along via phone call to the talk at the Supervisor's location. At the start of the talk; the Shop Steward stated why had he not been informed of what was going on. Supervisor stated no one is under investigation but we are trying to figure out what happened to avoid the problem in the future. The Shop Steward said if you are trying to figure out what happened; that is an investigation. After this; the Supervisor stepped out of the office to make a phone call. After the phone call she came back into the office and said; I do not know where I got the info that you were being investigated; but no is being investigated. You are free to go back to work.""
