Narrative
I was doing my last touch-and-go for the day on Runway XXR - I was planning to make my next round a full-stop - and did a short field landing. The nose was not aligned along the runway (it was to the left) so when I went full throttle the plane exited the runway into the field. I pulled the throttle to idle and braked. By the time the plane had stopped; it had crossed XXL and stopped in Taxiway 1 where it meets 2. The plane was pointed south-southwest when it stopped.I called Tower and told them I had run off the runway. They replied they had observed that and asked me my intentions. I told them I would like to do a full stop. They asked if I was able to make a right turn at 2 so I could taxi and hold short on XXL. I answered affirmatively so I turned the plane right and held short at XXL at 2. They gave me instructions to cross XXL and hold short at XXR; which I did. They then told me to cross XXR and park via Taxiway 3. ATC did not specifically tell me where to turn off 3; so as I was on 3; I asked if I could turn left at 4; which they granted.I then proceeded to park the plane at the ramp and tied down the plane. I did not received any further instructions so I proceeded to the flight school offices and called my instructor to inform him what happened.
Second reporter narrative
On the Day 0 at approximately XA50; my student; who was doing a solo; ran off the runway and crossed the parallel runway causing a runway incursion. Student is preparing for his Private ASEL check ride. I have flown with student for 10 months now starting from zero time. He is qualified to take the check ride and already met the solo requirements but we thought it'd be good to get more solo practice before the evaluation. Student was practicing touch and goes and on one of his takeoffs on Runway XXR; he veered off due to not enough opposite rudder. He pulled power to idle as he went off the runway and attempted to stop but due to the speed at which he was already at the plane continued to carry across the parallel Runway XXL. Student came to a stop on Taxiway 1 and 2 and then told Tower his intentions and taxied back to our tiedowns. I; the instructor; was not present at the airport at the occurrence. Student called me afterwards and told me what happened. I then called the Tower to see if an immediate report was necessary and if there was damage done to the airport. Student's training has been very consistent and I felt completely confident in sending him into this solo. The past multiple flights we had practiced many touch and goes and he was proficient in them. Moving forward from this; me and student will focus on maintaining positive rudder control during takeoffs and on landings to prevent this from ever happening again.
