Synopsis

Air carrier flight crew reported hydraulic system low pressure in cruise. Flight crew landed at destination uneventfully.

Narrative

We were at cruise and about 40 minutes from landing when we noticed the master caution flickering and the HYD annunciator illuminated. The hydraulic panel revealed the number 1 engine driven hydraulic pump had the LOW PRESSURE light illuminated. I called for and we ran the LOW PRESSURE QRC. The QRC had us switch the pump switch to OFF. We also noticed that system A was down to 22% quantity but the pressure was holding steady at just over 3000psi. We reviewed the LOSS OF SYSTEM A QRC and I determined that since we still had full pressure in the system we were to continue to ZZZ and hold off on that particular checklist. Dispatch and Maintenance Control were notified and [priority was requested]. We received priority handling to ZZZ. I called for configuring the aircraft early and incrementally to be sure we didn't overwhelm the hydraulic system. At this point the quantity reading for system A was fluctuating from roughly 5% to 20%. We successfully configured the aircraft early for landing and landed without further issue.
