ACR LGT ACFT WAS OPERATED OVER THE LEGAL ENRTE ALTERNATE SINGLE ENG DRIFT DOWN WT.

Narrative

FLT DEPARTED WITH STANDARD ACR COMPUTER FLT PLAN AND TPS (LOAD AND PERFORMANCE DATA). AFTER LNDG WE WERE INFORMED THAT WE MAY HAVE BEEN OVERWT FOR SINGLE ENG ALTERNATE REQUIREMENTS. DISPATCHERS SHOULD NOT RELEASE A FLT PLAN TO THE COMPUTER UNTIL SURE OF ALL LOADS WEIGHTS. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 205275. ACR/FLT NUMBER; SMF- DFW WAS RELEASED AND FLT PLANNED WITH 28400 POUNDS FUEL ON ACR RTE #A. ACFT WT AND ENRTE ALTERNATE REQUIREMENTS WERE MET WITH IS PLAN. SMT OPS AND THE CAPT CALLED AND ADVISED THERE WAS ACTUALLY 35300 POUNDS FUEL ONBOARD FROM A PREVIOUS CANCELLED FLT AND WANTED TO KNOW IF FLT COULD OPERATE SMF-DFW WITH FUEL 35300 POUNDS. SMF OPS AND THE CAPT WERE ADVISED BY ME (THE DISPATCHER) THAT I WOULD CHK OUT THE WTS AND ADVISED THEM. THE INCREASED FUEL WT WOULD NOT PERMIT DISPATCH OF THIS FLT ON THIS PLAN WITH LEGAL ENRTE ALTERNATES AND THE STATION AND OPS LOADS WERE SO ADVISED. THE STATION WAS ADVISED TO DRAIN THE FUEL DOWN TO ORIGINAL RELEASE FIGURE OF 28400 POUNDS. SMF OPS WAS ADVISED THE REASON WAS NOT TKOF WT OR LNDG WT REQUIREMENTS BUT ENRTE ALTERNATES WT REQUIREMENTS. SMF OPS WORKED WITH DFW LOADS AND THE CAPT AND SAYS THEY ADVISED THE CAPT OF THE ENRTE ALTERNATE PROBLEMS. WITHOUT FURTHER CHKING WITH DISPATCH THE FUEL WAS NOT DRAINED AND THE FLT DEPARTED SMF WITH FUEL 35200 POUNDS.
