PA-28 pilot reported an engine failure during cruise flight in VMC resulting in an off-field landing on a service road. The pilot landed the aircraft safely and reported no injuries or damage.
Narrative
On Day 0 at approximately XA:43 local time I took off from ZZZ on runway XX enroute ZZZ1 flying my aircraft with approximately 10-12 gallons of fuel in the left tank. I had one passenger on board. Roughly 27 miles into the 41 mile flight I experienced engine failure at roughly 3;300 ft. I made a request of priority handling. I followed my training and had to do an off field landing. Once I landed I called authorities and ZZZ TRACON to let them know we landed with no injuries. Police were dispatched to the scene and after they got in contact with you; they secured the scene until you could arrive. I provided all my paper work (Pilots license; medical; registration; airworthiness certificate. I voluntarily showed you my fuel gauges that showed approximately 5-7 gallons remaining in the left tank. You visually inspected the outside of my aircraft to include the fuel tanks. You took photos and I told you I would make a statement after talking with my organization Rep. You gave me permission to fly it out if my mechanic would clear the plane or I could trailer it out. Later that afternoon me and my mechanic went out to the aircraft and he couldn't find anything wrong. So he cleared the aircraft and I took back off; right off of that farmers service road.
