Synopsis

Student pilot flying reported prior to entering pattern had visual on two different aircraft. Student pilot suddenly saw an aircraft at their 10:00 position and banked to the right at 30-45 degrees to avoid a possible collision.

Narrative

Flying into Ak-Chin from the west; midfield crossing at TPA+1000; then was doing right turns to maneuver for the 45 entry; left pattern runway 22. Before entering could hear on CTAF that one aircraft was in left pattern for 22. While maneuvering Aircraft Y called in and I tried to get a visual on them. While on a 2 NM 45 degree entry could see that Aircraft Y flew upwind RWY 4 while another airplane was departing RWY 22. No visual on Aircraft Z. Aircraft Y was turning to the east where my downwind was located at TPA. Suddenly saw a Aircraft A what I felt very close at 10 o'clock; took evasive maneuver to the right with 30 to 45 degree bank cause we were on a direct colliding course and immediate action was required.I spotted the Aircraft Z and took immediate evasive maneuver to the right. Instructor seemed to be aware of the whole traffic situation; but not as much as I would have liked. Instructor was unaware of Aircraft Z that was on a direct collision course; before I took evasive action.I had the feeling that if I had spotted the traffic a couple of seconds later it would have been a mid air collision. Due to seeing the traffic only for a split second; I'm unsure of the actual horizontal separation. But it was definitely way too close for me. I'm not sure whether a Traffic Alert sounded at least for Aircraft Y. It definitely did not sound for Aircraft A.Also I'm not quite sure whether the aircraft was actually a flight with Aircraft Y or if Aircraft Y was a flight with another aircraft or even no aircraft since I didn't have any visual to Aircraft Z nor the other aircraft prior to the near-miss.Flight continued after a touch and go in Ak-Chin.Suggestions: I felt at the wrong place in the left pattern for RWY 22 with high activity. Maybe a solution would be a similar way as in Buckeye. No midfield crossings; pattern only on the west side of the airport.
