EVENT: TRANSITION TO AND FINAL APCH PHASE OF FLT; ILS 23L AT INDY. HVY CTLR LOAD (DEPARTING ACFT AND ARRS; AFTER INDY 500). VECTORED TO FINAL; REQUESTED TO MAINTAIN 190 KTS; 5000 FT. CAPT TUNED NDB; JOINED ME ON ILS. I WAS FLYING MANUALLY AND THOUGHT ABOUT; BUT DID NOT ACT ON; THE FACT THAT THE GS RAW DATA HAD US ABOVE GS. ASSUMED THAT IT WOULD LOCK ON CLOSER IN. RESULT -- OVER THE MARKER HIGH AND FAST; DIVING APCH WITH FIRM LNDG. CAPT AND I BOTH UPSET (NO GAR BECAUSE OF HIS URGING). DISCUSSED IN THE COCKPIT AFTER SHUTDOWN; BUT NOT REALLY RESOLVED. NO DAMAGE (MY EGO AND PROFESSIONALISM EXCEPTED); BUT I EXPECT WE UPSET SOME PAX AND ATTENDANTS. PERFORMANCE FACTORS: 1) I WAS UNDER GREAT STRESS ALL MONTH; SUPPORTING MY WIFE AND HER FAMILY WHILE HER FATHER STRUGGLED TO SURVIVE A QUADRUPLE BYPASS (HEART). 2) BOTH CHILDREN UNDER STRESS WITH EXAMS AND SOME TOUGH COURSES - - I HAD TO BE MR MOM AND FATHER. 3) JUST HEARD MR X MIGHT BECOME PRESIDENT OF MY CARRIER (I'VE BEEN THERE BEFORE). 4) CAPT IS NICE GUY; BUT HARD FOR ME TO FLY WITH -- I LIKE HIM; BUT WE DON'T MESH THAT WELL WHEN I FLY. 5) I WAS TRYING TOO HARD TO DO WELL (SEE #4) AND GOT 'TUNNEL VISION' OR þJUDGEMENT LOCKOUT.'
