Fractional Captain reported accidentally shutting both generators off while performing the after takeoff flow.
Synopsis
Fractional Captain reported accidentally shutting both generators off while performing the after takeoff flow.
Narrative
I was NFP (Non-Flying Pilot) and was running after take off flows. I waited to start them till after radios were quiet and started with bleed air transfer. I was aware that I had not done this hardly at all because I had to think do I use the First Officer's FMS to select perf climb or go back to mine while reaching across and not disturbing their space. I remember turning the APU gen off then selecting stop ; waiting till it spooled down and cooled and selected power fuel off. I then turned both gens off.Suggestion: This is my fault. I should have been more present and gone slower. A small factor is the reality that I have not flown many legs as NFP from the left seat. This is mainly because I am junior in the plane and we don't have a lot of copilots. However this should have made me more aware of the 'threat' and possibly slowed my pace during the after takeoff flow. Once the situation evolved my First Officer and I worked very well together and completed the checklist for inadvertent deployment. Yes there is a checklist. The First Officer cleared up my startled effect by selecting the generator back on that action caused me to realize what happened.
