Synopsis

Vans RV-12iS pilot reported landing safely after experiencing low fuel pressure at cruise altitude.

Narrative

As I was enroute to ZZZ about 15 miles from the airport; while level at 8500 just before Top of Descent into ZZZ; I experienced a low fuel pressure warning. I began and reduced power; the fuel pressure recovered somewhat but was just barely indicating in the green. The engine continued to run; but was not responding to increased power output as I advanced the throttle. Concerned that the engine could quit; or at best continue to operate at reduced power; I elected to [announce] on the ZZZ CTAF frequency and advised I would appreciate all aircraft to exit the pattern to allow me to land on any available runway. There were several aircraft in the pattern and they all complied with my request. As I approached ZZZ the engine was still operating and was responding to power; therefore I was able to make a normal pattern and land uneventfully. After landing I reported on CTAF that I was on the ground safely and thanked everybody on the frequency for their prompt help in clearing the pattern. The engine never quit and I was able to successfully taxi to my hanger.
