Synopsis

PC-6T pilot reported a runway excursion during the landing rollout.

Narrative

As I was making the approach into RWY XX I noticed a quartering crosswind from the east. As soon as the rear landing gear touched the ground the airplane immediately skidded to the left and exited the runway. As if the trailing wheel had locked veering left. Approach speed was at 70 kts and had one point of flaps. As soon as we touched the ground I turned the aileron into the wind but apparently it wasn't enough to counteract with the wind. The trail wheel was locked for landing as per the checklist.I made an assessment and noticed there was no damage on the airplane. Immediately got contacted by ZZZ tower and confirmed no assistance was required. Then proceeded to taxi out and into the taxiway as instructed.Once on the tarmac I confirmed there was no damage on the aircraft. An official checked the runway and mentioned there was no damage to the facilities. This aircraft is known for it's sensibility at a crossed wind landing; especially from the left. It's no excuse; I should have been more mindful.
