Narrative
I have 100's of hours flying drones of several types and complexities.Wanted to take a group photo/video of 8 planes sitting on the ramp at ZZZ. All of us going to a competition. I had quickly reviewed my chart and saw the vignetted magenta area around ZZZ noting Class E starting at 700 AGL. I missed the dashed magenta ring (bringing Class E to 0 AGL); actually remember thinking it was noting skydive operations.Just to be safe I opened my AirHub Portal (FAA approved 3rd Party LAANC) application. It noted the airspace as Class E. I filled out the requisite information to get near real time approval; but the application said that ZZZ was not part of the LAANC program and that I would have to use the manual FAA application process. So I proceed to the FAA Drone Zone web page to fill out a manual request (did not know how long it would take). While filling out the online submission and on screen error told me that ZZZ was one of the 726 LAANC approved airports and that I had to use a 3rd Party application. AirHub Portal is an FAA Approved UAS Service Supplier. There was no way to submit for LAANC approval. I only needed to be approximately 25' AGL (well below the height of the hangar and surrounding buildings on the ramp).I had my VHF radio to listen to CTAF and checked for any incoming aircraft. I was in the air for 2-3 minutes.
