Synopsis

SR22 pilot reported multiple system failures in flight. Pilot diverted and landed uneventfully.

Narrative

I was flying to ZZZ (planned destination was ZZZ) VFR and with flight following. After completing two legs of the flight without incident and within 25 minutes of ZZZ Class B airspace; the airplane began audibly and visually alarming; indicating multiple failures. The failures include Comm 1; Fuel Valve Auto; IPS (icing protection system); AHRS1; etc. It was near dusk and in relatively complex airspace; so rather than troubleshooting (including figuring out how to navigate to Comm 2 given the panels all converted to emergency mode; causing some panel confusion); I decided to land the airplane and determine what was going on once on the ground. I had an opportunity to land at a private runway (ZZZ1); and after making one lap in the pattern; verifying runway length and that the runway was clear; I landed uneventfully on Runway XX with a headwind. After taxying back and shutting down; I smelled a 'burning smell'. After taxying; someone called ZZZ approach (on my behalf) to notify them of lost communications and safe landing at ZZZ1 and to close my flight plan (was VFR with flight following). Cirrus completed repairs onsite; which include replacement of the MCU & the GIA; which were total failures. Subsequent to the replacement of the MCU & the GIA; I have encountered two subsequent electrical failures; the fuel flow censor failed and was replaced and most recently; the starter failed (found during run-up when the 'push button' starter would not turn off) and was subsequently replaced.
