Narrative
THE PROBLEM IS FATIGUE! I BEGAN A 4 DAY TRIP ON SUN AT X15 PM TO FLY 5 LEGS WITH SHORT 20 MIN BREAKS WE WERE OFF DUTY AT X20 PM THAT EVENING. THE NEXT DAY BEGAN AT X36 PM WHICH WAS ENOUGH REST; THAT NEXT DAY CONSISTED OF 4 LEGS; SHORT BREAKS AND 4.4 HRS OF ACTUAL FLYING WE WERE OFF DUTY AT X38 PM AND STARTED DUTY THE NEXT DAY AT X55 AM WHICH IS A REDUCED REST PERIOD. THE NEXT DAY WE FLEW 3 LEGS AND THE FOURTH WAS A DEAD HEAD LEG TO PICK UP A TRIP THE NEXT DAY AT X00 AM AND TO FLY FOR A SCHEDULED 6.0 HRS. WE WERE BUMPED OFF OF OUR SCHEDULED DEAD HEAD FLT FOR PAXS AND THEN WE WERE BUMPED OFF THE NEXT SCHEDULED FLT. THIS WILL PUT US OFF DUTY AT X30 PM. WE ARE CURRENTLY OPERATING UNDER REDUCED REST; OUR COMPENSATORY REST IS 12 HRS. THIS WILL NOW GIVE US A START TIME OF X30 AM FOR OUR FOURTH DAY TO FLY 6.0 HRS OF ACTUAL FLT TIME. THIS IS ONLY SCHEDULED WHICH THE LAST TIME I WAS SCHEDULED FOR THIS IT WENT WAY OVER. THE FORECAST FOR TOMORROW IS FOR TSTMS AND RESTR VISIBILITY. I DO NOT FEEL THAT I WILL BE ABLE TO OPERATE AN AIRPLANE SAFELY; ESPECIALLY IF AN EMER WOULD OCCUR. I MUST FLY TO KEEP MY JOB; OR THE COMPANY WOULD EASILY REPLACE ME. WE NEED LONGER REST REQUIREMENTS TO ASSURE SAFETY TO THE 36 PAXS THAT ARE ON MY AIRPLANE.
