Synopsis
Cessna Citation Latitude pilot reported a wire bundle physically touching the APU bleed air line was showing evidence of heat damage and that there could be other aircraft with the same condition.
Narrative
The aircraft is so new that it is not in the database as of this report. On preflight I found a wire bundle physically touching the APU bleed air line. Ironically; the label Fire Bot" was browned and warped from heat. It appears it was installed incorrectly. I did attach a picture showing how the wire is normally wired. (I just happened to have one due to an adjacent failed Adel clamp)Suggestions: Cessna should consider installing the data port lower to preclude the wire bundle from contacting the bleed lines. (This is one of the few areas in the planes sub-structure where there is plenty of room.). Cessna installer and inspector did not catch it. Our standards department also did not catch it. This should be a hot topic inspection area since it could have led to burning wires ind the aft bay. I also noticed that; even on the re-routed wire picture; that came from another Lattitude; that the wires appear to be spliced and browned at what would have been the contact point and potentially is a long term installation issue."
