Synopsis
Air taxi pilot reported the window mount for their electronic tablet fell off during takeoff roll resulting in the pilot inadvertently hitting several switches. Pilot rejected takeoff.
Narrative
I was cleared to depart runway XX. I rolled onto the runway confirming take off check list and I started to apply power when my tablet mount fell off the window onto my arm. I pushed it forward towards the firewall so I could grab it with my left hand that was on the yoke. While my right hand was on the power levers. After setting the tablet on my lap I looked over at the gauges and I noticed I had no torque gauge readings on either gauge. So I let tower know I was aborting take off. I maybe was going 30 or 40 Knots when rejecting the take off. I let tower know I thought I forgot to throw on my inverter. They had me taxi back for take off after making sure everything was ok. I proceeded back to the runway and took off without any more issues. In hindsight after take off I noticed another switch that was on that I hardly ever use and only the left side was on. This was the prop control cable heat. Now if you turn it on; you turn on both. What I think took place was when I pushed the tablet forward I bumped the toggle switch for the inverter down to off and I bumped the prop control cable heat on for the left engine. When I did my run up this morning on the deice pad I was trained to watch the auto feather light to come on around 400LB-600LB of torque. The auto feather passed this test. Also when checking all the lights the inverter light worked fine. Also; while taxing to the runway the tablet window mount fell off. So on take off roll would have been the second time it fell off. Suggestions: In hindsight after talking with the chief pilot I should have rejected the take off roll as soon as the tablet mount fell off the window. I'm a ZZZ1 base pilot and we use these window mounts to secure our tablets. I use the tablet for taxi diagram and for frequency's. I do not like the tablet on a knee board because then every time I look at it my head is down not looking outside taxiing single pilot. Here in ZZZ the pilots use other means of securing their tablets. So the window mounts are placed in a back bin where the suction cups get dirty. This morning I wiped down the window with a paper towel and just stuck the mount to the window not paying a ton of attention to how dirty the suction cups may have been. Next time I'll pay more attention to this and reject my take off roll sooner if the tablet falls off the window.
