COL IN DATA BANK OF FMS WAS LATER VERIFIED 1900 MI FROM COL. DEP CTLR QUESTIONED 260 DEG HDG FOR COLTS NECK. FO SELECTED #2 VOR NAV AND NOTED VOR NEEDLE ERRATIC AND DME 000. CAPT CONFIRMED PROPER VOR TUNING AND INDICATIONS AND REQUESTED DIRECT WHITE. CTLR AGAIN REITERATED CLRNC DIRECT COL DIRECT WHITE. CAPT TUNED #1 VOR TO COL. FO UTILIZING #1 VOR; FLEW CSE 125 TO COL. INVESTIGATION REVEALED FMS DATA BANK FOR COL INCORRECT AND #2 VOR/DME INOP WITHOUT ANY INDICATIONS. IDENT OKAY ALL FREQS FMS DATA BANK COORDINATES FOR COL DISCOVERED TO BE 19 DEGS 16.3 MIN N 103 DEGS 34.6 MINS W VICE 40 DEGS 18.7 MINS N 74 DEGS 09.6 MINS W. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THIS RPT SEEMS TO BE A MATCH OF A PREVIOUS PROBLEM WITH COLTS NECK/COLIMA HAVING THE SAME IDENTIFIER; COL THE RPTR IN THIS INCIDENT STATES THAT THE ANOMALY IS STILL IN THE DATA BASE. HE AND OTHERS HAVE TRIED TO GET COMPANY MGMNT TO MAKE A CHANGE; BUT TO NO AVAIL SO FAR. THIS RPTR STATES THAT THERE ARE OTHER HOLES IN THE DATA BASE; SPECIFICALLY INCLUDING THE NANCI 4 ARR INTO LGA AND THE DARBS 1 ARR INTO TPA. HE PROMISES TO CONTINUE TO FIGHT TO IMPROVE THE DATA BASE.
