Light aircraft pilot reported an NMAC with a military helicopter at CEW airport.
Synopsis
Light aircraft pilot reported an NMAC with a military helicopter at CEW airport.
Narrative
Transited from ZZZ to CEW on a VFR local flight for VFR pattern work at CEW. Winds 330/4 to 330/8 during my time in the pattern for 6 trips around the pattern for runway 35. At XA:10; Helicopter X approached from the North on an ILS 17; said they would breakout and circle to 35; but ended up landing 17 on the taxiway; I was on upwind and came within 300 feet laterally and 300 feet vertically with them going in the opposite direction; I took evasive maneuvers completing a short field takeoff and gaining at much altitude as possible to not cross their rotor wash in the crosswind turn to the left. Three patterns later I had one more near mid air collision/convergence. At approximately XA:22 Helicopter Y joined me in the left pattern after a circling approach using ILS 17; Originally the helicopter seemed to be at the right trail distance to not cause a conflict. Another helicopter (Helicopter Z) entered the right traffic pattern and did not make any calls until arriving at a right base for 17. As I was in the flare for my landing; I got an RA for the two helicopters converging from left base and right base as well as too close to my landing position. I did an immediate go around based on the Traffic Advisory. I called the conflict over the radio and did a short field takeoff attempting to get out of the way. Helicopter Y took evasive action to avoid Helicopter Z. I am not sure how close they got; but they were within 100 feet of my altitude and less than 0.2 nm away at last glance before I did the go around. I left the pattern after this incident.
