Synopsis
Air carrier B737 First Officer reported a fire warning light and bell during the takeoff roll resulting in a rejected takeoff.
Narrative
During our takeoff roll on runway XXR at ZZZ we received a master caution light shortly after the 100 knots call and continued our takeoff roll per SOP. A few seconds later the fire warning light illuminated along with the fire warning bell. The Captain; called for a rejected takeoff; took control of the aircraft and executed the RTO (Rejected Takeoff) procedure; stopping on runway XXR until Crash Fire & Rescue personnel could inspect our aircraft. I notified the ZZZ tower controller that we had rejected on runway XXR; made the remain seated call and assisted the Captain with completing the rejected takeoff QRC and QRH procedures. I informed the Captain that I observed a #1 engine overheat light illuminate and then go out during the RTO and we then ran the Engine Overheat QRC and QRH procedures. Once the procedures were complete we elected to taxi clear of the runway onto taxiway 1; where we held our position and reviewed our brake cooling requirements. We determined that we needed to allow the brakes to cool for 60 minutes prior to returning to a gate to disembark our passengers. While we waited; we contacted the Chief Pilot; Maintenance Control and dispatch to make notifications and double check our work. Once our 60 minutes elapsed; we taxied to gate XX; shut down and disembarked our passengers.
