Synopsis
PA28 Flight Instructor reported an engine malfunction during a training flight; resulting in an off airport landing. There were no injuries; or damage after landing.
Narrative
Flying lesson for Private Pilot. We took off from ZZZ; Runway XX at XA:30. Prior to takeoff; We conducted an engine runup. All engine instruments were normal. We Took off and all take off climb indications were normal. We Proceeded west to the local practice area and conducted the following maneuvers: XC procedures; unusual attitudes; and we then entered into ZZZ1 airspace so the student had practice getting into and out of a Towered airport. The last maneuver was S-turns at 900 feet AGL. We then started a climb to 2;500 feet where we were going to do steep bank turns. All engine indications were normal on climb up to 1100 MSL; where we then experienced a loss of throttle response. Upon recognizing a the lack of engine response; I leveled off and got to our best glide airspeed L/D (Vg); where we looked for an appropriate field in case I was unable to get the engine restarted. We then ran the checklist as a crew; switched code to XXXX and tuned into XXX.X and communicated. We then glided into our landing; and stopped the aircraft with no damage to person; property or aircraft. Upon landing; I contacted management.
