Narrative
ENRTE FROM PHX TO ATL APPROX PM30 LCL; PM 30 Z FLT X; SHIP Y COMPLETED A PRECAUTIONARY ENG SHUTDOWN ON #2 ENG LGT FOR LOSS OF ALL OIL QUANTITY. WE DID HAVE SECONDARY SIGNS CONFIRMING THE LOSS OF OIL. APPROX 15 MINS AFTER DEP OUT OF PHX; I NOTICED #2 OIL QUANTITY HAD DROPPED FROM 3 GAL TO 2.75 GAL SINCE THE TKOF ROLL. IT CONTINUED TO DROP. WITH 2.25 GALS LEFT; I NOTIFIED THE CAPT THAT THE OIL QUANTITY WAS DROPPING ON #2 ENG. WHEN THE OIL REACHED 2 GAL; WE STARTED MAKING PLANS FOR A POSSIBLE ENG SHUTDOWN AND PICKING A DIVERT FIELD. OVER THE NEXT 20-25 MINS; THE OIL QUANTITY WENT TO ZERO. ABOUT 3 MINS AFTER THE ZERO INDICATIONS; THE OIL FILTER BYPASS LIGHT ILLUMINATED. SHORTLY THEREAFTER; OIL TEMP WENT INTO THE YELLOW BAND FOLLOWED BY LOSS OF OIL PRESSURE. BY THIS TIME; WE WERE SSW OF ABQ. THE CAPT EXECUTED A L DSNDING TURN FOR ABQ. THE FO AND I PERFORMED THE ENG SHUTDOWN CHKLIST. I CONTINUED THE ONE ENG FOLLOW UP CHKLIST AND 10 MINS LATER WE WERE ON THE GND IN ABQ. POST FLT CONTINUED TO BE BUSY TRYING TO COORD WITH MAINT AND DISPATCH. WITH ALL THIS GOING ON; I FORGOT TO MAKE THE ENTRY IN THE ACFT LOGBOOK FOR THE OIL QUANTITY LOSS AND ENG SHUTDOWN. I SCREWED UP.
