Synopsis

C680 pilot reported unable to deploy flaps for landing. Flight crew performed a no-flap landing uneventfully.

Narrative

FLAPS FAIL CAS (Crew Alerting System) Message when moving the flaps position switch from up to 1 on approach at 3000 ft. Flaps remained in the up position. Ran QRH and QRC procedures; flaps wouldn't return to normal function. Requested priority handling by ATC on our behalf to have fire and rescue present. We broke off the approach and was vectored around while we trouble shot. Having ample runway; and a CAVU day helped the decision to continue and re do the approach. Aircraft landed as expected with a long roll out and no further issue other than a higher approach speed. Passengers were thankful and chief pilot was contacted for a recovery per my inflight email. Airplane was AOGd on ground with Maintenance after fire rescue and Airport Operations was advised of our safety and non event post flight. This was a repeat write up for Maintenance on this tail for a previous similar issue.Suggestions: Having just done a no flap landing in the recurrent simulators not more than a month or so prior definitely helped in this situation. The aircraft behaved just like it should have. Thankful for the long runways at ZZZ and the VFR conditions which made this no flap landing go as textbook as possible. Report filed post event. Thanks
