Synopsis

Air taxi First Officer reported an aircraft attempted to taxi and park between them and another parked aircraft with inadequate clearance.

Narrative

While taxiing out of the ramp at ZZZ ATC instructions were for us to taxi up to but don't block the entrance to the ramp for an inbound aircraft"We stopped well clear of the entrance (taxiway 1) on the north end of the ramp adjacent to a global 6000.The crew of the inbound aircraft stopped on 1 and asked ATC about entering the ramp. ATC responded that we were waiting for them. Instead of turning left behind the parked aircraft; which is the normal procedure for entering the ramp at ZZZ they attempted to taxi between us and the parked global. The PIC told them to stop on ground frequency. We were able to taxi clear of the confused aircraft without incident. It appeared to us that the other aircraft; a gulfstream g200 type would not have been able to fit between us and the parked global and had they continued could have led to a collision or other unsafe situation. It is worth noting that there was no FBO "follow me" cart for the other aircraft to follow. Suggestions: FBO follow me cart could have helped avoid this situation."
