I AM A CFI. I FLEW TO EAGLE CREEK TO TAKE A 'ME' LESSON IN MY FRIEND'S SMT TWIN. HE AND MY DOCTOR WANTED TO GO ALONG. I DIDN'T EVEN THINK OF IT BEING WRONG TO TAKE THEM SINCE THEY ARE MY STUDENTS AND I WAS SIGNED OFF TO FLY THIS PLANE. THE FAA GUYS ARE WANTING BLOOD ON THIS ONE AND THEY TOLD ME SO. AOPA SAID TO SEND THIS TO YOU. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM BEFORE. I GO TO SAFETY MEETINGS AND IN THE WINGS PROGRAM. I WAS GOING FOR MY LICENSE OF 'ME' COMMERCIAL INST NEXT WK. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATED THAT THE FAA INSPECTORS MET HIS ACFT AS IT ARRIVED AT THE RAMP AFTER HIS PAX CARRYING FLT. THE FAA INSPECTORS STATED THAT RPTR WAS NOT RATED TO ACT AS PIC AND THREATENED EMER REVOCATION ACTION OF HIS PLT'S LICENSE (CERTIFICATE). HE WAS ALSO ADVISED THAT THIS RPT WOULD NOT PROVIDE IMMUNITY OF A LEGAL VIOLATION ACTION SINCE HIS ACT WAS CONSIDERED DELIBERATE. HE ADMITS THAT HE DID WRONG AND IS WILLING TO 'SWEEP FLOORS' AT ALL OF THE FAA PLT SAFETY SEMINARS IF THEY WILL FORGIVE HIM IN THE FUTURE. HE WAS ADVISED THAT THE FAA PROCESS IS SUCH THAT HE WILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO STATE HIS SIDE OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES LEADING UP TO THE VIOLATION BEFORE ANY ACTUAL DECISION IS RENDERED.
