Synopsis
Air carrier First Officer reported Q11 at ZGGG is not depicted on the company pages and Jeppesen FliteDeck Pro and as Q11 was not seen on the AMM; the flight crew turned onto Q10 instead.
Narrative
A possible misunderstanding of taxi instructions might have occurred with Baiyun Tower while taxiing into the ramp area into CAN. After landing successfully after a Tower-initiated go-around call due to a plane still on the runway and not exiting expeditiously; we were told to exit left off the Runway 20L and taxi along Taxiway M and hold short of Q11.Note: Q11 is not depicted on the company pages into the ramp. It begins with Q10 into the ramp. Also of note; on the taxi tab in FD PRO for ZGGG; Q11 is also not depicted even after scrolling in as far as you can using the app. Only Q10 is visible. After slowly approaching the area of Q10; Q11 still not visible; we called Tower and told them we were holding short. They seemed busy [with] all the incoming traffic and having to handle the inbounds and taxi instructions to planes on the ground. This is where misunderstanding/confusion happened. After Tower responded to me; they gave us taxi instructions into the ramp. We proceeded M to Q10 to enter the ramp via Q10. After making the right turn not Q10 we were told by Tower to hold position. NO reason was given for the position hold and we were shortly given taxi to the ramp via Q10; Q15; to Gate XX. We think Tower possibly gave us a right turn into Q11; which we were able to see once we were position holding. This turn didn't make sense to us at the time because it creates a sharp right 90; immediately followed by a sharp left 90; and then another sharp right 90 turn into ramp. We just followed what made sense to us at the time and since Q11 couldn't be seen on the Airport Moving Map (AMM) taxi diagram; once again it made sense to turn into Q10 from M.Suggest standard routing to be followed by Ground Control to taxi planes into the ramp area from Q10 which prevents possible mishaps of dragging a truck into the grass or hitting a light from the continuous sharp 90 degree turns if Q11 were used. Also; an improvement on the AMM taxi diagram to add Q11 so there is no ambiguity.Cause: Possible fatigue could have factored into the confusion on both pilots and Ground Control due to busy time for ZGGG arrivals and Tower Control not handing us off to a Ground Controller.
