Air carrier Flight Attendant reported that another Flight Attendant inadvertently deployed the escape slide after arrival to the gate. Maintenance was called.

Narrative

After all the passengers had deplaned; I retrieved my luggage; and began my cabin sweep procedures. Knowing that there had been an ISD (Inadvertent Slide Deployment); I went so far as to walk to the aft galley to begin my sweep there. After the cabin sweep; I was told by Person B to stand by the ISD door along with Person C; to prevent any catering or cleaner people from accidentally falling out of the door. I stepped away from the door in two instances: when two maintenance people came to detach the slide from the aircraft and when two maintenance people came to close the door. When one maintenance person left; I went back to stand by the door because I felt like there should always be at least two people at the open door. When the maintenance people were attempting to close the door; I tried to help close it because they said it was heavy and I was already standing nearby. Person B told me it was better for me to not help; in case something happened; so I let go of the door after an unsuccessful attempt to close it by maintenance; the first officers; and myself. After we were notified that we were free to leave the aircraft; I was the last one onboard because I was triple checking that no doors were left armed.We made our way to the hotel and I thought everything was fine.
