Synopsis
Air carrier pilot reported ATL ATC informed them they failed to hold short at a taxiway intersection; but there were no chart notes indicating the hold short and ATC did not issue hold short instructions.
Narrative
After landing 26R in ATL; tower instructed us to taxi via the Victor loop and to give way to aircraft under tow at Hotel taxiway. We gave way at hotel and when we got to the end of the victor loop I contacted ramp for parking who instructed us right side of the ally to park. As we were parking; ramp told us ground wanted to talk to us. When the Captain called ground; he told us the Victor loop says to hold short of E at the end of the victor loop and to call ground holding short of Echo. He said it's ok this time but MANY pilots have been missing that. I highly suggest we make this bit of information a huge highlighted note on the arrivals page and let it be known to all pilots coming into ATL from now on so no one gets violated. Also; tower never told us anything about holding short of any other taxiways Or to contact or even monitor ground frequency. Cause: I highly suggest we make this bit of information a huge highlighted note on the arrivals page and let it be known to all pilots coming into ATL from now on so no one gets violated.
