Synopsis

A Flight Attendant reported one engine was shut down due to a fuel leak and diversion to nearby airport.

Narrative

I received briefing information from FO. We are diverting to ZZZZ: Suspected fuel leak; right engine shut down and prep the cabin for landing in about 40 minutes. I updated the crew. We were still delivering dinner meals to our business class pax (Passengers). We completed our meal delivery and waited for the Captain to make the announcement to the pax. As soon as the Captain gave our passengers the information; our crew went to work and did an amazing job of prepping the cabin safely under strenuous conditions for an Emergency landing within 30 minutes. I kept the passengers informed with Captain's updates. 2 Crew members reported having headaches and 2 including myself felt dizzy during the last 30 minutes. Cabin conditions changed: The economy and premium cabins became very warm. Lights flickered and they went out twice for 1 to 2 in all the cabins which was very alarming. We were flying with one engine and pilots were dumping fuel so we could land. One crew member noticed and reported that the plane was banking to the right after the right engine was shut down. Passengers remained calm during the entire process; on descent; and during landing and taxi phases of flight. We landed safely at ZZZZ airport. No evacuation necessary. We saw fire trucks following along side the aircraft. Once at the gate; we disarmed the doors.
