Synopsis
B767 First Officer reported during takeoff roll it they observed the left engine oil quantity indicated zero. They rejected the takeoff and returned to the gate.
Narrative
After setting takeoff thrust during the takeoff role it was observed that the left oil quantity indicated a value of zero. It was called out and at approximately 80-85 knots the takeoff was rejected. During the rejected take off ATC was notified and after safely stopping the aircraft we adhered to our SOPs and performed all appropriate checklists. Following our procedures; we ensured that before taxiing the aircraft that it was safe in everyone's interest to do so. As a result; after clearing the runway we waited several minuets to ensure brake cooling and safe tire operation (per QRC/QRH). After doing so we contacted all appropriate parties and began a return to the gate. We did encounter some slight confusion pertaining to which gate to return to. We departed gate XX and were assigned gate XX to return to. However ramp informed us to park back at gate XX. We confirmed he wanted us at gate XX and taxied there to find that a mistake was made and to go back to gate XX. Pulling into the gate they marshaled us in too far forward and had to end up pushing us back to enable jet bridge connection. All in all it was a safe and standard rejected takeoff and gate return per [Company] SOP and flight manual adherence.
