Narrative

I had an incident with the main door procedure upon arrival to ZZZ. I was finishing the end of a 6 day work schedule. The day prior to the incident (Day 0); I returned from out of base work and was not feeling well. I went to the room and took some OTC pain meds and tried to rest. Due to the aches and pains; I tossed and turned until the pairing notification came through on (Day 1). My report time was XB:30. I arrived at the airport parking lot at XA:30. I scanned parking lot permit to allow myself time to make it to the terminal on time just in case I needed to stop by the restroom. Upon arrival to ZZZ and the seatbelt sign went off; removed myself from the jump seat; turned the lights on; waited for the jet bridge. As the jet bridge moved towards the main door; I made the announcement: Prepare doors for arrival and cross check. I was feeling lightheaded and still in pain. I reached for the main handle and pulled it towards myself and immediately realized that was incorrect. I pushed the handle down and pulled up the lever covers and disarmed the door. This was an attempt to correct the error. The GA (gate agent) came to open the door and a portion of the slide had deployed. I immediately informed the Captain and the FO (First Officer) of what happened. The Captain contacted Maintenance. Maintenance was able to adjust the slide and the passengers were able to deplane after about 30-40 mins delay out of the main door. I remained in the galley until the door was opened. After the door was opened; I thanked the passengers for their patience as they departed. There were no injuries.
