Narrative
Date: Day 0Aircraft: BBD-700 Route: (ZZZ1 - ZZZ2) divert to ZZZFlight Phase: CruiseAltitude: FL480Event Description:While climbing/cruising through FL480; the right pack failed; followed shortly by the left pack. With both air conditioning and pressurization systems lost; requested priority handling; and an immediate descent to 10;000 ft was initiated in accordance with standard procedures.Once stabilized at 10;000 ft; crew performed the reset procedures and were able to successfully restore both packs. The priority handling was subsequently canceled; and the flight diverted to ZZZ as a precautionary measure.Ground Actions:Upon arrival; we performed full operational tests of both systems with satisfactory results. After technical evaluation and coordination with maintenance control and company operations; it was decided to continue the flight as a ferry back to base.Conclusion:Event was properly managed with no further abnormalities. Systems restored and aircraft released for ferry flight under company and maintenance approval.
