Synopsis

A300 flight crew reported loss of pitch trim and yam damper systems during cruise. Crew followed ECAM/QRH procedures and flight continued to destination without further issues.

Narrative

The aircraft was dispatched with YawDamper 2 deferred and a few other MELs not related to flight control systems or functionality. Shortly after reaching cruise altitude and near ZZZ waypoint departing from ZZZ the autopilot kicked off and we received FLT CNTRL ecam page for Pitch Trim 1; 2 and Yaw Damp 1. I was pilot flying and focused on maintaining aircraft control while the Captain began running ecam. The flight controls were very slippery and I immediately felt roll ossilations in the ailerons. It was difficult to keep straight and level flight so we told center about our problem; that we could not remain in RVSM and that we needed lower. Shortly after we requested priority handling for a flight control malfunction and poor handling of the aircraft. We wanted wider altitude and lateral route tolerances as there was turbulence and it was difficult to keep altitude and flight path. The Captain finished up running ECAM and with little further guidance began looking through the QRH. He wanted me to back up what he had done so we did a positive exchange of the flight controls and I then reviewed ecam and the best QRH checklist I could find which was Pitch Trim Fault. Satisfied we had control of the aircraft and our flight path I tried to reach Dispatch with no luck. We reached them through ACARS and told them the problem and we had requested priority handling but would land in ZZZ1 as scheduled. The remainder of the flight was uneventful and we landed with no further issues.

Second reporter narrative

Pitch trim 1 disengaged; yaw damp 1 disengaged both would not reset yaw damp 2 deferred. No yaw dampening or autopilot. Very sensitive in roll mode. Descended out of RVSM airspace; got altitude block. Ran appropriate ECAM/QRH requested priority handling; continued to destination for uneventful approach and landing
